Nikki Ramirez

What talents do you have or activities that you enjoy?
I enjoy photography and I am a photographer for the Rowe-Clark virtual yearbook. I like to dance. I enjoy music and playing the drums. My father is a drummer and I drum here at Rowe-Clark.

I go to Marwen Art School where I study photography and drawing.

Ambitions
I would like to be a software designer.

I am going to play for soccer and volleyball here at Rowe-Clark.

What do you like best about being a Noble student
I like that I can meet new students who have the same interest as me. Also, I like that all teachers actually listen to us.

Angelina Carrasquillo

What talents do you have or activities that you enjoy?
I like to play volleyball and soccer. I also like drawing and photography.

List any honors or distinctions received.
I received an award from Cross Country. Last year I received awards from Boys and Girls Club. I earned two trophies in soccer and one in volleyball. Also, I got an award from the Illinois Math and Science Academy.

Ambitions
I want to graduate from college. I would like to be either a marine biologist or wildlife photographer.

Interests
My interests are in art, sports, photography, dance and music.

Activities
I enjoy drawing, sports, yearbook, playing guitar, and dance. I take guitar lessons at Rowe-Clark and I am a photographer for virtual yearbook.

What do you like best about being a Noble student?
I like all the activities they have for us. I also like how the teachers really teach and care for the students. I like how Mr. Tobin keeps the students in line.

Fernando Mota

What talents do you have or activities that you enjoy?
My main talent is music. I enjoy making music and playing sports. I play the drums in music performance. I also enjoy sports. I play soccer and football. I have other talents that I haven’t discovered yet.

List any honors or distinctions received.
I received MVP for football for 2 years straight. I received a band award. I also placed 3rd in young authors at my elementary school as well as earning a diploma for best leadership. At Rowe-Clark, I received the Masai Lion award for best team member for the soccer team.

My ambitions are to graduate from college and be successful in life.

Interests
My interests are sports and music. I like making my own beats by a program called Fruity Loops.

I play football, help out, compose music, and work out.

What do you like best about being a Noble student?
At Rowe-Clark all the students get along with each other and the teachers are great. I am proud to say that I am a Noble student.

I love to write music including poems and raps. I enjoy basketball. I really enjoy science class.

I received a Science Fair award for excellence in 8th grade.

The best part of Rowe-Clark is the class size where the teachers are always willing and able to help the students.

I have a passion for poetry and I also have a love for acting. I really enjoy physics with Ms. Galarza.

I have received many merits at Rowe-Clark. Also, I recited my poetry during Town Hall.

What do you like best about being a Noble student?
The think I like best about being a Rowe-Clark student is it feels like we are in a big family and it is not just the students—it is the students and the staff. We are all together.

Coming to Rowe-Clark is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Jamere Tyus

What talents do you have or activities that you enjoy?
I like listening to and performing music. I like basketball, baseball, and football. I like forensic science. I like physics with Ms. Galarza

I’ve been on the honor roll. I have perfect attendance. I was the starting running back for my football team. I was on Fox TV and had an article published in the newspaper after winning the “Diamonds in the Rough” essay contest.

Ambitions
I like to graduate college and be a forensic scientist or doctor in hematology or oncology.

Activities
I like board games and mind teasing games like soduko.

What do you like best about being a Noble student?
I like the uniform. Also, I like how strict it is. Things are in order here. There isn’t any chaos unless I forget if it is an A or B day.

Alexandra Lawson

What talents do you have or activities that you enjoy?
My favorite hobby is singing. I practice in the mirror. I have sung in two Town Halls. I like cheerleading because it teaches teamwork and leadership. My favorite subject is history because I feel that I can’t know where I am going if I don’t know where I am from. My favorite classes are Civics with Mr. Harris and Multicultural Literature with Ms. McKechnie.

For the past three years, I have received awards and medals in cheerleading.

Ambitions
After high school, I want to go to Howard University and study pre-law. I want to become an activist and Civil Rights lawyer.

I really enjoy writing poetry and music in general.

I like volleyball.

What do you like best about being a Noble student?
I really like the small class sizes so there is a student-teacher relationship where I can get individual help. And since it is such a small school I have developed my own family here.
